Did you know it costs around $1500 a day to keep a young person in Australian youth detention? In stark contrast, it only costs $3600 a year to provide a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters.

To support this cause, We're getting locked up, and we need your help to raise my bail! All funds will go towards helping young people find life-changing connections and build a brighter future.

Here's How It Works:

Experience Jail Life

Upon arrival, Inmates will be stripped of their possessions, given a prison uniform, fingerprinted, photographed, and fed prison gruel in the exercise yard.

Mock Interrogation and Court:

Inmates will face an interrogation and court proceedings before being sentenced to cell time with my gang or in solitary confinement!

Fundraising Goals:

Supermax Inmate: Raise $5000 for release
Cellblock Inmate: Raise $1000 for release

This unique experience will help bring attention to the urgent need for mentorship programs, highlighting the stark contrast between the high costs of detention and the relatively low costs of preventive mentoring.

I’m taking part in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bail Out because I believe in what happens when someone shows up for you.

Big Brothers Big Sisters gives young people that person. A mentor. A steady voice. Someone who sees them, hears them, and reminds them they’re not alone.

We don’t always know what someone is carrying. But we do know that support can change everything.
